PHOENIXVILLE PA – Visitors to Black Rock Sanctuary can spend Nov. 17 (2012; Saturday) among feathered friends.
A free morning bird walk to explore the meadows and wetlands of the park along the Atlantic Flyway, 953 Black Rock Rd. (about 1-1/2 miles north of Phoenixville borough on Route 113), will be held from 8-10 a.m.

A Chester County parks guide will lead the expedition of fall leaves and the fall bird migration amid Black Rock’s natural areas. Walkers might expect to see migrating raptors, the arrival of winter sparrows, and the beginning of the waterfowl season.
