COLLEGEVILLE PA – Eight of Collegeville’s most beautiful homes will open their doors during the borough’s first Holiday House Tour, sponsored by the Collegeville Economic Development Corporation, on Dec. 15 (2012; Saturday) from noon to 4 p.m. It includes a reception at the Appalachian Brewing Company, 50 W. Third Ave.

Each home offers unique architectural features and interior design styles. Holiday house tour tickets allow guests to visit the homes in any order, enjoy the hospitality of their homeowners and the gracious spirit of the season, pick up ideas for holiday decorating, and join in the reception.

At the brewing company, reception guests can warm up, enjoy appetizers, meet their neighbors, drink hot cider or mulled wine, enjoy shopping at the tour’s holiday bazaar, and participate in its silent auction.

Advance registration is required. Tickets cost $25 per person, and are available by sending an e-mail to Collegeville’s Main Street Manager, here. Those registered will receive information by mail on all the homes, a map with their locations, and a paper bracelet that identifies each wearer as a tour member.
